Obama's Wall Street "Svengali"

September , 2010 -- Obama's Wall Street "Svengali"

Obama takes orders from Wall Street heir to the Rockefeller empire....

According to top Democratic Party sources, some with long years of political experience at the national level and in the highest levels of government, there is one adviser to President Obama who has his ear even more than chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. That man is Richard Parsons, a graduate of the University of Hawaii and the chairman of Citigroup. Until 2007, Parsons also served as chief executive officer of media giant Time Warner....

Democratic Party sources have also told WMR that Parsons knew Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, at the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii, which we previously reported was a CIA front operation to influence and train a new generation of political leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. Dunham graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1967 before taking Barack Obama, Jr. to Indonesia to live with her second husband, Lolo Soetoro, a top military officer for Indonesian dictator General Suharto, placed into power after a CIA-planned and financed coup against President Sukarno in 1965. Parsons graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1968, one year after Dunham Soetoro's graduation. Parsons also met his wife, Laura Ann Bush, at the university and they married in 1968.

The Rockefellers had a particular interest in Indonesia. Michael Rockefeller, the youngest son of Nelson Rockefeller, was reportedly on more than a mere nature expedition when he disappeared without a trace in Netherlands New Guinea in 1961. The Kennedy administration had secretly been negotiating the New York Agreement between the Netherlands and Indonesia that would transfer sovereignty of the mineral-rich colony from the Dutch to the Indonesians in 1962. A deal was also worked out between National Security Adviser McGeorge Bundy and Freeport Sulphur (later Freeport McMoran) to open up West New Guinea to Freeport gold mining operations. After the CIA ousted Sukarno in 1965, the new Suharto government quickly signed a mineral rights deal with Freeport for mining in West New Guinea. Later, Rockefeller man Henry Kissinger would join the board of Freeport McMoran. Kissinger was the architect of the bloody Indonesian invasion and occupation of newly-independent Portuguese Timor (now East Timor) in 1975. It also turned out that Obama's step-father, Soetoro, was dispatched to West New Guinea to put down natives who believed their land was stolen from them by Indonesia after they were to be given the right of self-determination.

Parsons has had a long relationship with the Rockefeller family. Parson's father was reportedly a gardener for the Kykuit Rockefeller Estate in Westchester County, New York. The young Parson' career was helped along with the assistance of then-New York Governor Rockefeller. After earning his law degree at Union University's Albany Law School, he became a legal counsel to Rockefeller in Albany. Following that stint, Parsons ended up as a managing partner of the Manhattan law firm, Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler. There, Parsons worked with Rudolph Giuliani. Parsons looked after the legal affairs of Nelson Rockefeller's widow, Happy Rockefeller, after the former Vice President died at a Manhattan townhouse he owned after suffering a sudden heart attack in 1979 during what many believe was an extramarital tryst with an aide, Megan Marshack.

WMR has been informed that it was Parsons and Greg Craig, who was President Obama's counsel and represented John W. Hinckley, Jr. after his attempted assassination of President Reagan in 1981, who helped engineer Nelson Rockefeller into the vice presidency after Gerald Ford became President after Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974. Rockefeller was always miffed at Nixon for not being chosen as his running mate in 1968. Nixon, who despised Rockefeller but was forced to take on Rockefeller foreign policy adviser Kissinger as his national security adviser, figured with Rockefeller as his Vice President, Nixon would be fair game for just about anything. Instead, Nixon chose little-known Maryland Governor Spiro Agnew as his running mate. After Agnew resigned amid a bribery scandal in 1973, Gerald Ford became Vice President. When Nixon resigned in 1974 and Ford assumed the presidency, Rockefeller was chosen as the Vice President.

Nelson Rockefeller had always wanted to be president. In 1975, he almost had his chance when two women, Lynette "Squeak" Fromme and Sarah Jane Moore came dangerously close to assassinating President Ford. Rockefeller wanted to continue on the Ford ticket in 1976 but there was another wealthy GOP family with presidential ambitions that had other ideas. George H. W. Bush conspired to have Rockefeller dumped from the GOP ticket, however, he did not get his wishes to replace Rockefeller as Ford's running mate. That slot went to Kansas Senator Bob Dole. As 1980 approached, it was Rockefeller's last chance at the presidency. Rockefeller was 70, normally considered too old for a presidential run. However, Ronald Reagan was only a year younger, 69. Rockefeller also entertained running with Reagan in order to protect the interests of the group Reagan constantly attacked: the New York-based Trilateral Commission, a Rockefeller creation.

But once again, the other powerful GOP family had other ideas. It would be George H. W. Bush who would run with Reagan with a deal to have Ford on the ticket which Reagan abandoned at the eleventh hour at the 1980 GOP convention. There is a belief that Nelson Rockefeller's sudden heart attack may have been spurred on with a bit of assistance in the form of a drug he was given. However, no one will ever know for certain. There was no autopsy on Rockefeller's body and he was cremated. However, as he entertained a return to the national stage in 1978 and 1979, Rockefeller aides Parsons and Craig were busy pushing his interests.

Parsons became chairman of Dime Savings Bank on the recommendation of Harry W. Albright, Jr., a former aide to Rockefeller and New York state banking regulator. In 1989, Parsons supported Republican New York mayoral candidate Giuliani over Democratic candidate David Dinkins, who was elected to become New York's first African-American mayor.

In 1991, Nelson Rockefeller's brother, Laurence Rockefeller, recommended that Parsons be appointed to the board of Time Warner. In 2001, Parsons became chief executive officer of AOL Time Warner, after the merger with the Internet firm.

Parsons served as co-chair of President George W. Bush's commission on Social Security reform. He also works closely with David Rockefeller and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Parsons also served on an economic advisory team under President Obama.

Part of the reason why Obama was not critically treated by the media was the fact that Parsons exercised control over a vast array of the corporate media, including CNN, Time magazine, Money, People, and Fortune magazines, and, at the time, AOL.

But more importantly, Parsons, according to Democratic Party sources, has ensured that Obama maintains his policy of looking forward and not back. Parsons, who is a friend of former Bush policy adviser Karl Rove, has convinced Obama that there should be no criminal investigations by the Justice Department of Rove or other top Bush administration officials from everything from political prosecutions of former Alabama Democratic Governor Don Siegelman and Rove's involvement in election fraud, to the CIA's assassinations in the Levant, using the infamous White House Murder INC, and Asef SHAWKAT's Syrian assassins...., to rendition and torture programs. Parsons was a member of an economic advisory team that met with President-elect Obama just two days after he was elected President in 2008.

WMR was told that Parsons represents the interests of the Rockefeller family and the Council on Foreign Relations in his meetings with Obama, described as one-way communications that ensure that Obama is carrying out the wishes of the Rockefellers and their business friends. One of those demands may play out soon in Alabama, where Parsons and fellow African-American, Democratic Alabama Representative Arthur Davis, has reportedly prevailed upon Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, to appoint Montgomery attorney George Beck to replace U.S. Attorney Leura Canary as U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama. Canary as part of the Rove operation that targeted Siegelman for prosecution. Beck, who is associated, according to our Alabama political sources, with Alabama Republican Governor Bob Riley, would continue the prosecution of Siegelman and ensure that there is no federal criminal investigation of Rove's past illegal political activities in the state's elections. In addition, Beck was also the attorney for Nick Bailey, one of the chief witnesses against Siegelman. Beck permitted federal investigators to question Bailey some 70 times and he raised no objections to the questioning being conducted in a purely civilian matter at Maxwell Air Force Base, a military compound outside of Montgomery.

The Rockefellers were at the forefront of Hawaii's booming real estate development in the 1960s. The Rockefellers also had controlling interest in Hawaii's major bank, the Bank of Hawaii, or "Bank OH" as it was called by the local Hawaiians. The bank held millions of dollars in escrowed building and construction accounts, payable to builders after the completion of hotel and other projects. The "grand dame" of "Bank OH" was Madelyn Dunham, Obama's grandmother who helped raise him. Madelyn Dunham was also "Bank OH's" vice president in charge of the escrow accounts. Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Obama/Soetoro, worked on micro-financing projects for the Ford Foundation and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which is also connected to CIA covert operations as previously reported by WMR, in Indonesia, Pakistan, Lebanon, and India.....and many other countries worldwide

But the micro-loan banking project, which provided small loans to Third World farmers and artisans, had another, more secretive future purpose. The micro-loan system, spurred on by the Rockefellers and their Wall Street pals, would lay the groundwork for the future transfer of millions of jobs from American workers to cheap labor markets in the Third World....

An informed source in Washington, DC pointed out that Greg Craig would have been involved in such a high-level matter as the Presidential intrigue wrapped around the Watergate scandal in 1974. Craig graduated from Yale in 1972. Joining the powerful Washington law firm of Williams and Connolly in 1972, Craig was part of a team with a senior partner, perhaps even the CIA-connected Edward Bennett Williams himself. Two-year associates usually don’t operate solo at that level.

"Svengali" has evolved from George du Maurier's fictional character to mean someone who is a highly influential adviser to a political leader but accountable to no one. Richard Parsons now channels the wishes of the Rockefellers and other Wall Street barons to Obama.... With Obama listening more to Wall Street -- through Parsons -- than Main Street, he and his party will soon pay a dramatic cost in the upcoming election.
